This 1920’s Spanish Colonial received a fresh, full-scale renovation while keeping the integrity of the classic elements within the home.

With only one previous owner, we designed this home for a young couple expecting their first child, keeping in mind both function and historic preservation through our design decisions. Along with the necessary updates we made to modernize the home, we relocated the kitchen to create a larger space with more natural light and added a mudroom on the back of the house. All bathrooms received a full-renovation to best utilize the existing layout while upgrading fixtures. The exterior was restored to give the home an updated, fresh look with smooth stucco and a fresh coat of paint. We showed restraint through the decisions that were made and in doing so ended up with a warm and relaxed space for this family to grow.
